Reflexology Contraindications

 

Infectious diseases with high fever, must first be treated with drugs, and reflexology should be used only as a reinforcement for antibiotics. If there are certain conditions on the foot, for example, mycoses, generalized eczema, (in order to avoid infection and possible injuries), bruises, wounds, gangrene, ulcerations, Sudeck's disease, reflexology should be avoided.

Reflexology should also be avoided when the person is suffering from rheumatic diseases especially with manifest pain in the feet.
