Intra uterine insemination
This technique
involves injection of live sperm inside the uterus usually 36 hours after
ovulation. Can be used in cases of disorders of ovulation. In these cases
ovulation
is induced and intra-uterine insemination is performed after hours.
In cases of cervical mucus hostile to sperm this technique is indicated.
Another indication is the
endometriosis light without obstruction of the tubes. However, the
main indication of this technique is in cases of infertility
undetermined.
In fact, this technique of introduction of semen after ovulation stimulated
by hormones has been shown to be effective in many cases. For this technique
has resulted is essential that the tubes are porous and that the number and
quality of sperm are reasonable.
