Did you know that exercise is good for physical and mental health, but know that moderate exercise can help you get pregnant?

Exercise helps to reduce body fat, which can make a big difference for some women.


Connection fat / estrogen / fertility

How about 30% of the estrogen comes from fat cells, too much fat - or too little - may alter the hormonal balance, reducing their chances of becoming pregnant. A level of body fat, 10-15% above or below normal can contribute to infertility.

Moderate exercise, regular, can burn excess fat, boosting fertility, energy levels and heart health. If you do not exercise regularly, start slowly, making the activity part of your daily routine.  Eventually, you can develop a regular routine. Thirty minutes a day, 4-5 days a week can make a difference to their levels of fat.


One last thought

It's not about blame. Many factors are involved in infertility, so you should not blame yourself if you have ever taken a sedentary lifestyle. See this as an opportunity to increase your odds of getting pregnant while improving your health.
